The Department of Undergraduate Legal Studies at CSI College for Legal Studies (CSICLS), Kanakkary, Kottayam, offers comprehensive legal education through the Three-Year Unitary LL.B. Programme, designed for graduates aspiring to build a professional career in law. The programme is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

The LL.B. (3-Year) programme is structured over six semesters across three academic years, providing students with a strong foundation in core legal subjects such as constitutional law, criminal law, contract law, property law, family law, and procedural laws. The curriculum emphasizes conceptual clarity, legal reasoning, drafting skills, advocacy training, moot court practice, internships, and courtroom exposure, ensuring practical orientation alongside academic learning.

The department adopts a student-centric teaching approach supported by experienced faculty members, interactive classroom sessions, case law analysis, and continuous internal assessment.
