B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)

The B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme is a five-year integrated undergraduate law course spread over ten semesters, combining core legal subjects with disciplines from the humanities such as political science, sociology, history, and economics. This interdisciplinary approach enables students to understand law in its broader social and constitutional context.

The curriculum includes major law subjects such as Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Contract Law, Family Law, Property Law, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Public International Law, Environmental Law, Labour Law, and Human Rights Law, along with skill-based papers like moot court, drafting and pleading, alternative dispute resolution, professional ethics, and internships. The programme aims to build strong analytical ability, advocacy skills, legal research competence, and social responsibility among students.
